Hero Dinner (2009 flyer)
On January 10, 2007, Avon Junior Women’s Club Hero Dinner coordinator, Katie Keefrider, presented checks to Bud Desmond (treasurer of the Avon Volunteer Fire Dept.), Assistant Fire Chief Peter Delap and Sergeant Adam Lazinsk. The AJWC held its 6th annual Hero Dinner in November 2006 with all proceeds benefiting the Avon Volunteer Fire Department & the Avon Police Department.
