Whale of a Sale

We are a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization of women whose common interest is to serve the philanthropic needs of Avon and the surrounding communities. Our volunteer members contribute their time and talents by participating in or organizing functions such as Avon Day, Whale of a Sale kids consignment sale, food drives, and service to Avon 's senior citizens through activities with local nursing homes and community centers.
All active members are asked to make a conscientious effort to attend regular club meetings on the 2nd Tuesday or Wednesday of every month (except June, July and August), participate in club service projects, such as community service at the local senior facilities, outreach programs, AJWC primary fundraisers, and other club functions.

Joining a committee is a terrific way to be more involved with our organization. To the left are some brief descriptions of some of our committees. Click on the Links for each to learn more.
